I'd still love to hear the reason's behind why the focus of developing
Madden is on the presentation and not changes to the shitty "physics"
Engine, the lack of player awareness in zone, the lack of angle/pursuit
Logic and about 40 other fucking things.

EA is trash, yes - but the unwillingness to make a progressively better
Game is mind-numbing.

I agree with you for the most part but the real physics engine is a huge step forward and makes the game much more interesting/realistic/fun. (albeit they should have had the real physics by the time they switched to 360/ps3)

It isn't a "physics" engine. It's a shit ton of new tackle animations
That don't make the game anymore realistic. Trent Cole can still
Blow up gaurds. Linebackers can still attack the run and not be blocked
By the line properly. Safety's can roam 3/4 of the field then stop and
Change directions on a dime.

Ahmad Bradshaw can hit the hole inside then bounce off tackle if he
Wants because linebackers don't use outside leverage or contain.

Yeah, realistic.

So I've been busy of late and a bit out of
It in terms of games. I might play some COD
For a hour or so every other night.

I'd like to gauge interest in starting an online
Connected career (franchise) with a fantasy draft.
I have several personal friends interested as well
So ideally if a few people from BP would like to
Join that would be awesome.

There is no cheese, exploits, hacking of Any kind.
Everyone I play with is pretty legit.

They sell about 4 million copies annually without doing the things you suggest. I'm guessing as long as that continues they aren't going to spend a ton of geek hours to improve it.
