Magic-Hawks 2nd round series

Well, there is quite an amount of vCash wagered on this series.

This occurred due to a browser bug which was doing strange things - I couldn't post links using BP link icon inside posts (as I mentioned in a couple of other threads lately), and I couldn't see the amounts I typed into vBetting lines. I wanted to bet $80 million on the sweep (a typical bet for me, about 1.5% of my stash), but it ended up with an extra zero, or 800 million. I decided I didn't want to only have that much just on the sweep, so I intended to offset it by adding a v$400 million bet on the Orlando in 5 line (so I'd break even on a 5-game win, but still win a chunk on a sweep).

Once again, another 0 was entered when I keyed it, and due to my browser bug, I wasn't able to see the amount to double-check it before hitting the place bets button. So I now have 4.8 billion wagered on the Magic.

This is all true - I'm mentioning it because if Orlando does win in 5, I'll end up with 12 billion, but if Atlanta wins two games I'll have lost about 80% of my stash, and I'll no longer have the largest stack of vCash. Which would make jwinslow and Piney vHappy.

And I'm also pointing out that even when an elitist prick bookie makes a mistake on a wager - a bet made is a bet played.

Edit - and I've now restored my hard drive from an early backup, so hopefully those browser bugs are gone.

Well, looking good so far.

Magic with a HUGE beatdown. ATL may not want to even step on the court after this.

I'm sure BigWoof isn't too pissed...

**One positive note - I bet the under (192) and won $40 bucks....so drinks are on this guy at Cinco de Mayo after work.

Hawks led at halftime in game two but Orlando is pulling away, again. Looks like ATL might win one game. The Magic is now 6-0 in the playoffs.

While Orlando has looked very good so far, I think they've also been the beneficiary of good matchups in the first two rounds. Charlotte was probably the worst team that made the playoffs (in either conference) this year, and Atlanta has absolutely nobody that can match up with Howard.

Better effort but still not putting it all together. Early in the game I thought Howard committed two offensive fouls - but you'll never get those calls on the Road.

Good game from Horford and Crawford.
Back to Phillips Arena - where a loud crowd might allow us to steal a game or two.

What a shitty series.

Goodbye Mike Woodson.

*BigWoof rejoices*

edit- goodness.

Magic were +101 points better than the Hawks in this 4 game sweep. Largest 4-game margin-of-victory in NBA history. Congrats Atlanta!
