All right, all right, all right.
Anyone ever have to deal with this before?

Doctors are worried my little brother has it. He was evaluated maybe a year ago, and they said they would be surprised if he had it, but to come back in a year so they can re-evaluate him. (He is 16.)

He has a lot of the symptoms, so I was surprised to hear that doctors didn't think he has it.

Just wondering if anyone can offer any advice on the genetic disease or anyone has any information about it.

I used to date a girl whose brother had this. It made him weak and fragile most of the time. Not weak to where he couldn't get out of bed or anything.....just that I couldn't picture him playing sports or stuff like that. I haven't heard about him in a while. At the time they weren't very positive on his long term chances of survival. I don't know if that's typical with the disease or if he just had it more severe.

I hope your brother is OK.
