Marvel Cinematic Universe

Will Disney do R-rated material?

I very highly doubt it, at least not under the Disney banner. Pulp Fiction is a Disney production, after all (they owned Miramax from 1993-2010). Those kinds of things will probably still have a home on Netflix if any of their other production houses put out that kind of stuff (likely to come from the 20th Century Fox side).

Marvel is the wild card, as the Netflix series were obviously R material. I can see them toning down the stuff that made it R-rated (sex scenes, excessive gore, language) since most of it wasn't really needed anyway, should they decide to continue those series as they currently exist.
