i would take a flyer on maurice if i didn't have immediate needs late in the draft. the talent is there and i suspect the cash will bring back out the beast. one of the most incredible talents ever to come out of ohio hs football at tailback.

Yeah, he looks better but he is pictured in a pose that makes his physique look best and all that glitters is not gold.

I agree with Clarett, he had just one off-field problem: Maurice Clarett and his entourage. That was why he took money from boosters, lied on insurance claims and set out to destroy his team. Just one problem.

Good luck to the team that is silly enough to take on this head case.

From the moment he arrives in the NFL, this will be about that one problem. It will simmer and we'll see lots of press interviews about the new, more mature Clarett. He will really appear to get along and be a misjudged class act.

For a short while. Then he will have one or two big games and he will become himself once again. All the mouth of Muhammad Ali, with none of the class or personal integrity Ali had to back it up. He will trash his teammates, trash his team, complain about being dissed and receiving less than his due.

He will cause dissension in his team, shatter their team identity. He will bring in divisiveness. In a span of weeks, he will destroy what it took years to build up. It will all be about him. If he's getting stopped, it will be the fault of the line.

He will put that shoulder down and take chances he shouldn't, just to try and back up the rep he builds for himself and he will piss off everyone around him. There's gonna be some guys on defense that really want to pop his cork.

And that's why I don't think he will be around the NFL very long before an injury ends his career, even if he is drafted.
