Woodby was offered by OSU on Dec. 12. He’s considered the 79th-ranked prospect and ninth-best cornerback in the 2025 cycle per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
“I was a big Miami fan when I was younger, but as I started to understand football and the position I wanted to play, I realized Ohio State is DBU,” Woodby told Eleven Warriors after being offered. “I want to play at the next level, and I want to watch the next level. I wanted to watch the best and they produce the best.
“Just growing up watching Ohio State and seeing all the guys they produce in the league as far as cornerbacks go, it’s just an ultimate level I want to reach one day. It means the world.”

Super high up on my list for CBs in the '25 cycle. Brew is basically in and it's impossible not to have Sanchez as your #1 target, who is a very realistic target right now. Give this a very low probability of happening because of 'cruitin, but my wishlist that could happen is Woodby, Brew and Sanchez.
Either way, kid seems to get it and you take him regardless if he wants in.

FYI, according to Birm, Blake Woodby is committing on October 14th and is planning on visiting OSU this weekend.
I wanted him and his teammate after watching them play against Jeremiah Smith and Jojo Trader.

Obidegwu was all over Smith and Woodby had Trader on lock. Smith finished with 2 catches for 19 yards and Trader finished with 4 catches for 28 yards.

Blake Woodby will announce his commitment on Saturday sometime between 2-5 pm. He’s having a commitment party and doesn’t know what time yet he will make his announcement.
