I played it Tuesday, didn't buy a ticket for Friday. I'll probably buy a few tickets this week.

It made me think, if I win this, how much this will change my life.

True, your odds of surviving another ten years will decrease significantly.

Hell yes I'm playing

I go about it this way - when the payoff has more numbers than the odds, it's worth it.

Then again I've never won it so what does that say :)

This basically is true since the expected return is greater than the cost. If you bought one ticket for every combination it would cost $175,711,536 dollars. If you had the only winning ticket you would make $174,288,464.

How long it take you to figure that one out?

IIRC, I think the states made it illegal to buy every combination when an group from Australia did it a few years ago.

Anyway, Im playing too. If I win, the biggest decision I will now make at work is should I use the sand or the pitching wedge....

Hell, you'd have enough practice time to master the Tom Pelz four wedge system, which of course would make your club selection tougher, if you were still willing to bother with stuff like practice. Of course, I'm sure 1960s-vintage MacCallan would add strokes to your scores . . .
