    • This post probably belongs in a different thread but considering the majority of people on this site frequent this thread, I figured I'd put 'er here.

    Merry Christmas to friend and foe alike. I hope everyone has a great family day today. If you don't have a close family just stick around here. This place has kind of become a family over the years and Clarity and the others keeping tabs have made it a safe and fun place to be around. Even when we don't always agree on things universally it still seems to keep the welcome sign out for most people.

    I know we have an intense and hated match coming up on the first but let's just put all of the animosity and angst away for a day today. Reach out to the people who have less than you do and extend a hand to them. We have far too many things going on in this country today that are what I would consider to be Un-American. Be the change you want to see in the world today, to quote an amazing human being (Ghandi), and see if it doesn't give you more joy in the end. Hell, I'm probably the most angry person that I know but today, just today, I'm going to do it differently.

    I'm not religious and you don't have to take it that way but, God bless you all and yours, and forever - GO BUCKS!!
     
    Merry Christmas to all who pass through this thread...and a special thanks to Clarity and Jo! You've given this Buckeye a second family that I'm so thankful for!

    Keeping the spirit of the season year round isn't always the easiest thing to do. If being a better me today, tomorrow and into 2015 takes a little effort, so be it. Thanks Bestbuck36 for starting this and reminding me again what's important!

    since it is Christmas, just this one day a year I'll be nice and just say.....Bleep M*ch*gan

    Finally, lots of BPers out there serving our country. To them it's often a day away from family and home, often it's a another day of duty. Thank you for your service. we'll keep the home fires burning and wait till you come home.
