There was a joke of a cajun restaurant in Gilbert AZ that my wife liked so I'd take her there when she requested. The food was OK for Arizona but nothing like the real deal out there. The worst part of it however was the waitstaff's attempt at cajun accent. After hearing the real thing listening to them made my skin crawl. Reminded of a time when we went to a so called (for Phoenix) place down on Camelback, out waiter was with a straight face attempting a French accent. I wanted to find the owner or chef, whoever ran the place and tell him that I can't believe they let that clown wait tables using a fake accent, it was cringey and embarrassing.
