Okay, so I need to get my hair cut by someplace new, and I figured I'd ask:

Do you guys go to a barber or a salon?

I go to a salon

(hmm, if I call myself a homo now will it steal some of the joy from Thump in doing so?)

Bonus question: Has any guy here ever had a manicure or pedicure?

I go to a salon and I have done the pedicure & maincure thing.

I used to go once a month to have them trim my claws but now I go probably once every 3 months.

I have no shame in my game.

Pussies. I cut my own hair and fingernails using a chainsaw. I use a wood chipper for my toenails.

There is one side benefit to the wood chipper. All of my white socks are now scarlet.

six years ago i took my son to one of those fancy kids haircutting places for his first haircut....

I closely watched them cut his hair...i'm telling you its rocket science folks...and they then told me "that'll be 22 dollars." After looking around for the funny show hidden cameras I realized they were serious and I paid...

The next day we went to the drug store and spent $9.99 on a home hair cut thing and haven't spent another dollar on our hair in six years....neither of us...

15 minutes every two weeks is all it takes....i figure i have saved $2,160 since...

I hear mullets are easy to maintain.

I used to always go to a barber shop. Years ago my wife bought me a certificate for a salon to have them cut my hair. It was a nice cut, but I could not justify $30 every two weeks for a haircut (my hair grows really fast), so I went back to the $15 haircuts at the barbershop. The good barber left the local shop so I switched to a lady who cuts hair out of her house. Cheaper and the best and most consistent haircuts I have ever had.

I do have to say, the worst haircut I ever had was at one of those chain Fantastic Sam places.

No manicures or pedicures for me.

actually i have found this cut to work better.....surprisingly easy....#4 on top, #3 on the sides and some touch up.....

oh...and don't even think about walking into the shower room at a gym with manicured toes......lessen your a woman....

I havent paid for a haircut in years either.
Actually 4, not since I have been in college.
Cut my own, it has led to some mistakes :! , but hey, its free!
The way I look at it, that $10 for a hair cut is an 18 pack of Stroh's and some chips n salsa.

Personally I have never even heard of a man getting a manicure or pedicure.

My wife cuts my hair also, she works @ a Salon, so after hours I go there and get my hair cut. Never will have a pedicure or manicure.

Kinch, I think you need to get get your Gaydar replaced b/c yours isn't working that good.

Thats like asking if anyone get there eybrows waxed or our butt hairs braided.

Jersey is different... mens cuts at Salons run a mind boggling $30-35... haircuts at the barbers are still in the low $20s... and look like it... kids cuts are about $20-25...

I begged my wife to do mine... she refuses... not like I do anything fancy... got pissed enuf I tried to do my own just a couple mths ago... well... not sure how well that experiment worked out... don't think I'll try it again... I have always cut my oldest's hair... and I think I do just fine... wife won't let me touch the youngest's and I hate his $25 bowl haircuts... always have...

Depending on your situation, manicures could be important... I do one a year... never did the pedicure thing... It's interesting how many folks make judgements about people based on their hands...
