Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

Its funny that so many Cryami fans consider them to be "back" after the death row of teams theyve played to get to 4-0. Bethune Cookman (D1AA), Toledo(have nothing of a team after losing Kareem Hunt), Duke(its Duke, come on, they're a nerdy basketball school) and one of the most overrated FSU teams in a VERY long time! Unfortunately, outside of this weeks game against GA Tech, Cryami won't have much competition left on their schedule and could moon walk into the ACC championship only to be curb stomped by Clemson. This fan base will be utterly smug and arrogant again as this year may leave them with 2 losses tops(if they can find a replacement for RB starter, Walton), creating fools gold to go along with a possible top 5 recruiting class.

Miami fan charged with felony for striking police officer at Canes-Hokies game

From the Associated Press:

Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said in an email Sunday that Bridget Freitas, a 30-year-old nurse, has been charged with felony battery on a police officer and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He said the department is reviewing the video to make sure proper procedures were followed in the altercation at Hard Rock Stadium during Miami’s win Saturday over Virginia Tech.

Video of the incident was posted to Twitter. It shows Freitas being carried away by a host of Miami-Dade police officers. She strikes Detective Douglas Ross with a back-handed slap, who immediately responded by punching Freitas in the face.
