It's really not a masterclass in anything though.

It's just Miami fans with access to the internet. That is who they are.

If we could just get the hood rat South Florida element of their fanbase into the same room with the white trash Camaro driving New Jersey element of their fanbase, I think the problem might take care of itself.

The survivors would be the rich suburban kid/actual alumni element that you rarely ever hear from but when you do have the rare sighting (almost always in person), aren't actually all that bad.

The U takes the Walmart Wolverine vs Alumni thing to a whole different level.

Except you're forgetting another segment of the base. The OOS fans who became bandwagon fans in the late 90's or in their early heyday. That's where my buddy falls. He started becoming a Canes fan in 1999 because he got sick of me bragging about the Buckeyes, and our other friend bragging about FSU. There's a whole lot of them scattered across the US who still wear Warren Sapp, Michael Irvin and Clinton Portis jerseys, and can only talk about the "good ol days". Kind of like ND fans tbh

I was going to say that this reminds me ALOT of the "Feels like 98" Tennessee fans.
