Already several "he obviously isn't that into Ohio State and blown away by Michigan" takes starting to make their way onto the forums.

Really? The "ONLY" reason he would select Michigan is because OSU didn't offer? For a kid with a GPA north of 3.0, you must really think he is dumb to think he would base his entire college decision on who didn't offer rather than who did...

This has nothing to do specifically with this young man, but someone's GPA has absolutely no bearing in how anyone (young or old) makes decisions in this world.

Don't think he meant his comment how some are translating it.

Should have said the only reason he is picking Michigan instead of Ohio State is because Ohio State didn't offer.

He's not going there because he's pissed at Ohio State, he's going there because it's a great option and because his #1 school didn't offer.

Come on, every Michigan fan knows this guy is bound to flip if ever offered by Ohio State.

If he goes to Michigan, we'll know why .. and it has nothing to do with a lack of interest .. and we're okay with that.

I am generally not a huge fan of the "pick a hat" game recruits play... This seems very respectful, though you know he wishes - had he gone that route - that there could have been an Ohio State hat on that table. Anyway, best of luck to this kid, wherever he ends up. EDIT: and even if that's to Michigan, we all know this kid could easily be flipped with an offer. It's common knowledge :)

Could be. I'm thinking it is he was pretty set on Tennessee until he took a visit up north. Now, he's got some things to think about

I wouldn't mind seeing an offer go out, but he may just not project to a position of great need in this class.
