COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri freshman linebacker Alvin Newhouse, 19, was arraigned Monday at the Boone County Jail on charges of forcible rape and forcible sodomy, police said.
Officials said the charges related to an attack in his dorm room at Graham Hall on the University of Missouri campus. Newhouse, from Dallas, Texas, was in police custody and bond was set at $60,000. Newhouse was told he could not have any contact with the alleged victim in the case or be on the premises of Graham Hall.

Newhouse also has been suspended indefinitely from the Missouri football team.

Captain Brian Weimer of the University of Missouri Police Department said an incident occurred at 4:30 a.m. Sunday in Graham Hall. Weimer also said Newhouse had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court on a city summons related to a driving violation.

A woman told police that she was walking in the dorm hallway near Newhouse's room and was asked to come inside. Once in, she said, Newhouse locked the door and refused to let her leave. The woman told the police that she had no prior relationship with Newhouse. Reno Savala, Newhouse's guardian in Dallas, said Newhouse had sexual intercourse with a woman in the dormitory after he and his roommate returned from a party late Saturday night. Savala said the police took sheets and clothing from Newhouse's room for evidence.

Boone County prosecutor Kevin Crane said he thought there was sufficient evidence to charge Newhouse on Monday morning. Newhouses's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 5.

Newhouse has retained the council of Patrick Eng, former partner of Wally Bley, who represented former Missouri basketball player Ricky Clemons.

The woman is a student at Mizzou who also lives in Graham Hall. Police provided no other details about her.

Newhouse was a freshman running back/linebacker from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas who did not see any action on the field this season.

Well, at least the poor bastard is getting some "action" off the field.

Also, there seems to be something real wrong with "forced oral" being considered "sodomy" in the "SHOW ME" state.
It's assholes like this that make me happy some states still have retarded laws banning blow jobs. Its nice to see that this asshole will get a little extra time

I hope this fucker fries, if he did it.
