Since I've lost nearly every vBet I've made, I thought I'd take one for the team and bet it all on the Yanks.

I hope I lose my shirt on this one! :p

The Red Sox can't break the curse. If they do what will Sox fans have to bitch about from now on? To me this game is about the same as Notre Dame vs. SCum. Go Tribe in 05!!! :2004:

Remember, the Curse isn't that they can't beat the Yankees, it's that they won't win the World Series. They can beat the Yankees and still fuck it up later. It's kinda like last year when Cubs fans misinterpreted their curse. The curse was that they wouldn't get back to the WS, not that they wouldn't win a postseason series. It's not as if the Billy Goat could've anticipated rampant league expansion and the inception of the wild card. The Cubs beat the Braves, declared their curse broken, then suffered the ensuing wrath. If the Sox win tonight, I think something very similar will happen to them.

It would be funny if the Sox made it to the WS only to lose the series because of Clemens.

This series will end on a high note no matter who wins....

    1) Yankees blow a 3 game lead and let the BoSox come back with 4 straight wins

    2) The BoSox come up short yet again..... and lose to the yankees yet again.

on a serious note... it has been a hell of a series and I'm rooting for the Red Sox to pull put the victory tonight.

100 vCash on the Sox baby!

i'm betting on the yanks. it's a no lose situation for me. I hate the yanks, so if they lose, I am glad. If they win, I win some v-cash which will be used to buy fine imported v-beer.

You Sox fans owe me big time (well, to the tune of 25 vCash anyway :p )

From now on I'm definitely going Costanza on all of my vBets...
