Moreso meant I didn't see any other targets out there after the McClain commitment until Roker and now Perich, so I was wondering what the plan was. Roker I think has some upside, but Perich looks like the real deal and likely more game-ready...so adding him would be really big and a great save.

Agreed about the name! There have been a number of offers recently of guys I didn’t know OSU was looking at(I.e. Amaris Williams, Roker, Eric Mensah, Carlin Jones, etc). But it’s crazy how the offers are to very talented players so late in the process. Perich may not be on the same level as Bolden and Woodward; but he’s a great replacement for guys like Brandon Jacobs, J Johnson Rubell and Reggie Powers

Hopefully we can seal the deal then, adding Perish would make me feel really good about this safety class to pair up with the outstanding CB class. And with how prominent of a role safeties play in Knowles' defense, a strong safety class is important. The more film I watch on Perich, the more excited I get of the prospect of flipping him...I see him playing a similar role to Styles if he ends up here.

AG says there were about "7-8 major schools" all pushing for S Koi Perich to visit after seeing his senior film.
"It was very telling" that Perich locked in his OV to Ohio State first.
Says Perich has a great relationship with Perry Eliano, and Ohio State wants this kid very badly.

AG also mentioned that Ohio State and Perich are in active discussions to move his visit (currently scheduled for December 9th) up to this weekend.
We now have this weekend open since we're not playing in the Big Ten championship.
Sigh.

KOI PERICH​

While Ohio State has two safeties committed in the 2024 class, the Buckeyes would like to add one more if possible, with their eyes set on Minnesota commit Koi Perich. It may turn into an Ohio State vs. Florida State battle for the Minnesota prospect, with OSU scheduled to host him on an official visit Dec. 9-10 and FSU getting its turn on Dec. 15.

Senior Film

Unique cat that jumps off the screen. Playmaking safety with ball skills, CB speed, and LB hit stick. Football player. Goes 100 miles an hour. He'd be a killer hybrid safety. Fun to watch play the game because he looks like he's just having a blast.

We gotta get this guy away from Goldie. Laurinaitis has gotta get a 1-on-1 with him during his visit
