So is this offer based off of the staff not feeling confident about our current targets and/or commits, or is it based on he just being too good to pass up?
Just wondering since we seemed in such good shape with mavety. The soap opera that is osu recruiting continues

That's not what pnuts said, or at least not the way I read it. Of course he's "worthy," since this staff doesn't reach. I just meant that between the 2 options of the offer coming because they're less confident on getting their top tier guys and the other option being they just discovered this top 50 talent, I'd guess they are feeling less confident on their top guys.

This kid is the real deal. They viewed him this summer and he has the size and agility for the offensive or defensive line (mainly left tackle).... Am an alumni of OSU and he is under rated by most services, he needs to be a Buckeye, yet getting heavy recruitment by ACC/SEC teams

Hope he is as crappy as that other 3-star we got from MN... Laurinaitis or something like that

Lack of stars in MN recruits is usually a function that no one gets to see them or hear about them

A number of 247 scouts are predicting ragnow to Osu, seems like a quick decision by them.

Outside of seantrel Henderson and Michael Floyd, there has been few high end talent to come out of MN. 247 has some recent analysts that have ragnow to Osu now. A lot still needs to play out. If the staff sees us not getting prince or bookser or Mavety, or we could possibly get ragnow with 1 of the mentioned, though that's a little far fetched with limited numbers. This was an interesting offer, and an example of new names constantly emerging throughout the season.

What is lost here is that fans don't know if a player has an "offer" or an "OFFER." Ragnow seems like a great prospect with alot of really good offers to his name and if he indeed has an OFFER, I want him in this class. However, this may be contingent on what Prince does.
