And 4 first rounders in the last 5 years (Zack Martin, 2014; Ronnie Stanley, 2016; Quenton Nelson, 2018; McGlinchey, 2018). We've had 2 in the past 5 years (Decker, 2016; Price, 2018...also Mewhort in the 2nd , 2016). While ND doesn't come close to us on overall success, they've been developing the OL position well in the recent years. As for Carroll, he was going to ND no matter what.

Hopefully ND OL scholarships include stipulations that you don’t have to really socialize with Brian Kelly. That’s all I can assume. Having Kelly as a coach would be a tough stench to mask, otherwise.
