NBA Discussion (Official Thread)

Jay Williams makes incredibly stupid tweet then compounds it by lying. Hilarity ensues.

Not only is Udoka not the Celtics first black coach (he's their 6th), Boston was the first NBA team to ever have a black coach (Bill Russell).

It was such an easy Loss to take. Say “whoops, not as brushed up on their history but I’m excited for the hire.” And move on.

No one ever wants to say they’re wrong, so “hacked” it is…

Everyone knows that I’m the battered Atlanta sports fan on the board and I am so so so hesitant to get really excited about a good Atlanta team.

But, BUT!
This team is so so so much fun. Lob dunks, floaters and threes. They aren’t scared going on the road and if they lose, they don’t get rattled.

This has been a ton of fun.
First trip to playoffs in years and you got a fun team on a roll. I’m jealous as a Bulls fan ..I’m forced to relive the 90s ( my NBA safe space) lol

The Clippers have impressed me with how they've won on the road, trailing in series, usually without their best player.

Leonard has already been ruled out for game 6, but the Suns aren't out of the woods yet.

ATL looked done once Young got hurt (stepping on a ref's foot) but they lead big in the 4th and now Giannis is hurt.

The Suns are the healthiest team now. That may be all the edge they need.

Giannis is like 3/4 of Milwaukee's team so with him out, the Hawks should actually be favored to win the series. I saw somebody say the Hawks are +120 to win the series, and that is a good bet.
Reddish coming back and playing like he has on both sides really filled in for Trae being out (which I thought would be the end of the series).

Doesn’t help the Bucks that they’re the most baffling team the last 3-4 years. No clue what their plan is on offense but it’s really uninspiring.
