This is some ugly, exciting, spirited basketball.

Questionable call on Artest after letting them bang hard the last few drives.

Was that a stadium official in the way or just a fan?

what a shot by Gasol.

He doesn't come close to making the starting lineup of tools active in this series.

Fuck him. He wanted out of Utah and it just so happened the only place his daughter could get what she needed was if he went back to the Lakers.

This is why, when at its best, the NBA has the best product in American sports. The only problem is, it takes a once in every few years matchup to bring out these levels of excitement and intensity.

The NFL and CFB, on the other hand, are consistently very good and dramatic. But, nothing gets me going more than NBA Finals, Game 7, big time players, and in the crunch of the crunch time.

Great close by LA in the face of a strong Boston rally. I'm sure Kobe will make Sportscenter but his teammates closed out this series.

Yeah, right. Kobe Bryant is all class. :roll1:
:slappy: Splendid work there.

Even if you couldn't keep up with the conversation, you'd think Garnett & Vujacic would be a pretty big giveaway.

That's because you typically can't erase bad quarters and/or halves like in the NBA.

David Tyree, Santonio Holmes, Tracy Porter pick six say hello.

Since I'm not playing, I have no reason to be gracious. Lakers win, fuck the Lakers, fuck Kobe, fuck Artest, fuck Jackson.

I'll let Doc Rivers be gracious for me. :wink2:

It's probably just me, but those were great games and great plays. But tonight's game and drama is better.

It's probably just a personal preference. Maybe because scores are so rapid in basketball, where as you can go a while without one in the NFL.
