I seem to remember a thread from a while back that asked people to rank the sports. The NBA was left off of many people's lists, and others made it a point to thrust pro hoops into the basement, below 'hunting and fishing' and 'watching paint dry'. So now that we're at the conference finals, with two of the more intriguing matchups in recent memory, have anyone's opinions changed? The two best defensive teams in the league (Indiana and Detroit) square off - you've got Wallace vs. O'Neal, Hamilton vs. Artest, etc. You've got Carlisle facing the team that canned him, and Larry B back in the finals where he belongs. The two best offensive teams in the league (Los Angeles and Minnesota) square off - you've got Shaq vs. Mad Dog Madsen, KG versus everyone, etc. Zen Master, Mailman, Glove's last push. Really - is anyone not gonna watch these two series?

Last week?, I was trapped in the Houston airport due to heavy rains. I believe the LA / SA game was on. There was probably 150 people that wanted the game on and about 5000 that wanted the weather channel.

I think the T'Wolves may need to familiarize themselves with this...

I'll watch the games, but only if nothing else is on. I personally hate the Lakers, and the only person I even respect on their entire roster is "the Glove". I hope the T-wolves can stick it to them, but again, the only reason I will watch is if nothing else is on. Wednesday might be an option, since "The OC" is done for the season. Can't wait for 24 tomorrow night, though...
