a lot of teams could have beat ohio state. UM had a solid road to the final four, some favorable match ups but it was tough sledding.

I think about 8-16 or so teams "could have" beaten OSU under the right circumstances. But you could say that about a lot of the top teams in the tournament (TSUN included).

As for TSUN's run, any team that gets to the finals made a good run. But you're also right they got some favorable match ups. Certainly VCU and Florida were very favorable match ups, and I'd argue that Syracuse is a good match up for TSUN too. They only good team TSUN beat that they didn't match up that well against was Kansas, and I still don't know how the [censored] they pulled that off.

Ever thus to pretenders, Wolverines.

Frankly, I thought scUM's bracket was brutal on paper...VCU wasn't a bad 5th, Florida could get as hot as any team in the country (albeit streaky), Georgetown was hot coming in, and Kansas beat the piss out of us at our place (I know, beginning of the season but still). OSU had the much easier path, sanz Louisville had we beat Wichita...we just shot the worst game of our season and paid for it. We had the easiest path to the Final Four in the tourney imo. Conversely, scUM was built for a deep run with their style of play, aka not having to worry about foul trouble like IU, MSU, and OSU. That's the way I saw it anyhow.

I'm not disagreeing with anything in your post, which speaks to the path as it appeared on paper the day the brackets came out--certainly TSUN had the more difficult path on paper. They also had a more difficult path to the Final Four, as it turns out, at least relative to OSU. But my point is that their style of play matched up really well with what VCU and Florida (and, to a lesser extent, Syracuse) try to do.

That said, OSU's path to the Final Four -- #15 Iona, #10 Iowa St., #6 Arizona, and #9 Wichita St. is about as easy as it gets, at least seeding-wise.

One thing those kids have to think about is that next year's NBA Draft is a lot stronger than this year's. So if you're Top 20, you might want to think about going.

But getting the correct information is key (and not listening to your "boys" or agents).

I realize I'm biased, but I really don't see how TSUN fans can complain about officiating (or say that it was horrendous towards both teams), considering:

- they were in the bonus at the under 12 timeout
- they were in the double bonus when Louisville wasn't even in the bonus
- total fouls were 15 called on TSUN, 22 called on Louisville (and that's taking into account TSUN intentionally fouling at the end--not sure how many this was, but I'm thinking it was 4--2 to get Louisville into the bonus, and then I think Louisville had 2 1-and-1's). Taking those out, Louisville was called for twice as many fouls as TSUN

You may complain about the lack of goaltending call in the first half, but when you look at the whole game, I don't see how it is that you aren't elated with how the refs treated your team tonight.

It's not about me, it's about the product. I'm complaining simply because they called a terrible game.

McGary was taking fools heads off in the last couple minutes and not getting called. There was also a span where they missed two kicked balls on Michigan that where the ball went into the 3td row they were kicked so hard. Just bad

Win or lose, I want to see a good product, and the refs out there were far from it last night.
