NCAA punishes USC - Reggie Bush, OJ Mayo, Dwayne Jarrett, Joe McKnight investigation

Henderson made his choice. Good luck to him. Let's move on.
I wish him no luck, but I guess you're right that I should move on. I don't need to bash a kid, but I sure as heck don't have to like him either. Wouldn't bother me if USC went on an epic TSUN/ND tailspin at this point.

Well, I guess we can retire any possibility of Ore-goon usurping SC in the Pac any time soon. SC still looks in good shape unless they get a Pac Ten ban. Maybe Stanford can sneak into the Rose Bowl with an 8-3 record.................
College football chaos theory in action!

[sarcasm]Oh come on, there is no way that USC will go into a tailspin with Lane Kiffin at the helm.[/sarcasm]

NCAA expected to deliver Southern Cal penalties for Reggie Bush case this week - Campus Rivalry: College Football & Basketball News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com
After a long wait, the NCAA's decision on penalties for Southern California are expected to be delivered soon.

According to Yahoo! Sports writer Dan Wetzel, the report will be released this week. The NCAA concluded that USC running back Reggie Bush received illegal benefits during his three-year career with the Trojans.

The school already has self-imposed sanctions on the men's basketball program for money that was alleged paid to an adviser of O.J. Mayo.

One person thinking there could be severe penalties for the Bush affair is Chris Dufresne of the Los Angeles Times. On his Twitter account, he made a prediction of five years probation, a bowl ban and a loss of 21 scholarships.

USC went before the NCAA Committee on Infractions in late February. Since then, Bush settled a lawsuit with a man that claimed he gave $300,000 in cash and gifts to the Heisman Trophy winner.

It is possible that Bush could be ruled ineligible and be forced to return the Heisman. The school could be forced to forfeit its national championships from 2003 and 2004.
