Nebraska at #23 tOSU, Tues 3/1, 7 ET on BTN

I'm struck as I was early in the year and in most of the last decade about our lack of athletiscm.

We have some good players but lack explosive athletes yet again.
Nebraska is more athletic then us.

Turn on any game for 5 minutes and you will see teams ranked way below us with kids who be in our top 3 or higher in terms of spring, bounce, explosiveness.

At some point we need to address it in recruiting.

We should also study why we are not capable of fielding a team anywhere near health.

I like Holtzman. Think he is a good coach but we need to become more athletic.
I agree with this, I think it showed up on the defensive end of the floor the last two games where the opposing guards had big games. Not being able to slow down dribble penetration was a huge problem, guys need to have quicker lateral movement or the defense gets broken down.

Seems like the team is never healthy. Not sure how you can build any consistency when guys are constantly in and out of the lineup.

Very true. What I don't get is how Young went out with an "illness" at half. Young has more heart than any any player we've had, which leads me to wonder...what the hell is going on? He didn't get sick at halftime. Unless the announcers got that wrong, we've got a locker room issue it seems.
