Game Thread Nebraska Cornhuskers at tOSU, Oct 6th, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/2

I just want to say that although I am not happy with the amount of points Nebraska put on the board, I have seen some improvement in tackling. During the Cal game, it was just plain awful. In this game, it was inconsistant, but I saw more attempts to wrap up among the secondary, There were still some whiffs when going for "The Big Hit." but not as much as earlier in the season. I am also pretty sure that Nebraska is the best offense we have faced all season. If this amount of improvement continues week to week, I do not see a team left on the schedule that we are incapable of beating.

I was concerned they were going to beat the [Mark May] out of us when it was 17-7 and we had more pick sixes than total yards.

Then the rest of the game happened. What a show. Lots of fun to watch.

I recorded the game in DIRECTv as i aways do. It's hard for me to watch it live. The older i get.........well its just too damn hare for me to take. I fell
asleep in the lazy boy as i was watching Texas and WVU. When i woke it was about 3:00 or so. When it was 17 - 7 i was alittle worried also. Then i think Tom Herman happened and yeah what a show him, Braxton and Urban put on......I hope Braxton can keep healthy and Urban and Tom can keep on dialing up greater plays for the future.

Defensivley, we are still a work in progress and i hope we can continue to get better right up to the game in "happy valley" because that will be another test for us. It's always hard to win in that hostile enviornment

If the Bobcats can handle it I think we'll be alright.

Very nice game for us, we just pounded the snot out of them. Also great to see more guys stepping up more and more besides Simon, Hank, Roby, Miller and Hyde.
Urban Meyer is going to win a LOT of football games cuz last night I could see just how good a coach the man is. He is the real deal.

Some action shots from last night. . . anyone else notice the footballs looked like they were from 1955? Anyone know what was up with the beat up footballs? Easier to handle maybe? Both sides agreed to go with worn in footballs? Just curious and sorry if it's been mentioned already, haven't read through the entire thread yet.

John Simon - really nice game

url

Bradley Roby - 2 interceptions, 1 for a TD

url

Carlos Hyde - 4 TD's, 140 rushing yards (not a bad day at the office)

url

Braxton Miller - I knew it - proof his feet never touch the ground! :)

Thought about Andre Ware for a second when Carlos Hyde ran that final touchdown in. Remember that game?

I swear it was the third quarter against Northwestern when Ware went on a rant on Ohio State running it up and criticizing Jim Tressel. I think it was when Terrelle Pryor bombed it to Brian Hartline for a TD (and it wasn't late in the game).

I thought Todd Blackledge was about to say something, but happy he didn't on that final TD.

Perhaps the Browns game can cure my hangover.
Good god - I lost my voice yelling and I wasnt even there.

The defense in the early going was intense.
Hats off to the crowd.

I wont lie. Pretty much everything past the 1st qtr is a blur.
I just Remeber the TD's. So if someone would be so kind as
To point out the finer details of the game that I was....unable
To pinpoint for myself, that would be much appreciated.

I haven't been able to watch the last 2 games as I haven't been able to get any feed here in U A E. My daughter was skyping some of the game to me at about 5 a.m. What a kid.....

The wife has the games on DVR for my return....#HappyBoy
