Alright guys I need some advice.

I need to buy a new pair of shoes and am considering one of the new, shape up shoes. I have been told that when you excercise in them the workout is intensified.

So I am trying to find out if anyone has used these shoes before and what their experience has been. Also, I have a very wide foot and need to make sure the shoe is made in a wide size.

Look, you, I scare off enough non-imaginary guys; don't go blaming the imaginary ones on me, too. :p

Anyway, so far as shoes are concerned, it seems as though getting a shoe that's comfortable would do more for exercise habits than a gimmick would.

Reebok Runtone is what I'm in now. I can't say anything for the "tone" part of the name, but they're comfy is heck and I have a wide foot with a very high instep... which limits my choices significantly.
