Expect the 'aerographics' design the Duke, Sparty, St. John's had this past year.

Assistant coach Jeff Boals tweeted tonight that a Nike representative was in the basketball office today to show the staff pictures of the new threads. "Very interesting the thought put into the back of them," Boals wrote.
As Nike did with other teams' uniforms last season -- such as Kentucky's -- there will be a faint design, personalized for Ohio State, on the back of each jersey.

OK, I'm one of the bigger Nike apologists around, but one thing I don't like with them/the athletic department is the lack of continuity in scripts and fonts (besides FB/BB). We've discussed the hockey team's 'Buckeyes" font that looks like it came from MS Word, and where did the baseball team pull this from?

It looks like one of those discount jerseys you can buy at Walmart or Ebay for 75% off the regular price. The ugly black swoosh is a nice touch too.

Wow, that looks really cumbersome to play basketball in. It looks like they're trying to emulate football players.

Last month, I visited Stillwater, Okla., where they?re abuzz about what the Cowboys are about to do. No one?s saying, not officially. But one highly placed official says:

?We?re going to be the Oregon of the Midwest.?

We?ll have to wait awhile to know for sure, but I suspect Oklahoma State?s football team won?t be wearing the same outfit twice (in a row) again. It?ll take a math whiz to figure out the possible combinations of orange, black, white and smoke gray (which will be added to the Cowboys? offerings).

?This will give us something, another edge,? the Oklahoma State official says ? and that?s what this is all about.
