Inconsistency defines a lot of teams that find themselves in the NIT. NCAA tournament-calibre one game, not the next. I think both of these teams fit that mold. Both played well early on against easier opponents and then hit a slump in their conference schedule.

I believe that how we perform offensively will determine this outcome. If we hit our shots and take our share of offensive rebounds when we don't, I like our chances. I think it will be closer than we like.
