Northeastern vs. Ohio State, Sunday, 2 PM, BTN Plus

47 to 17. 35 non-ft points. guessing 28, maybe 30, were off of shots within 8 feet.

the perimeter game would be a good focus for the second half.

I actually like that they are playing to their strengths. Getting out on transition and pounding them inside. Previous teams would have kept bricking the shit out of it and keeping the other team in. Hit the open shots but pound em. I like this style of play for this team.

i agree that it's all very good, but it's only a matter of time until opponents have "the book" on ohio state. it will be interesting to see how we respond when better-than-bad teams flood the middle and/or go zone. so far through 3.5 games against teams from the bottom half of division one, we're 29% from three and probably only slightly better outside of 15 feet. that is very bad. our interior game will open the outside, but will the outside game start to exploit that imbalance? fortunately, ho1tmann has addressed that... for next year.

Understandable. They can't be what they are not though. I'm just happy they aren't trying to be. Hell, I think the Cavs trying to be Golden State is what has basically killed them.
