Notre Dame 20, Boston College 16 (final)

We expect NBC's announcer's to be homers, but the color guy said (about Clausen in crunch time) "He hasn't won them all, but he's played good enough to win them all"...W...T...F?

Montel Harris fumbles it away again, this time at the ND two yard line. :pissed:

BC was going in to take a 23-13 lead, but never scored again after this crucial mistake. Fuck!

EDIT: Hold on! BC converts 4th and 17!

Note to Pat Haden, who said he couldn't see why the ND linebacker got called for a penalty after he recovered a BC fumble inside the ND 5 yard line.

He ran off the field and tossed the ball away from the referee. He was called for delay of game. It's the same call I saw called against Neal Colzie after he intercepted one of your passes in the 1975 Rose Bowl and returned it inside the 10 yard line. He was called for that penalty, which helped tOSU to not get a TD on that drive, and your USC team ended up with the MNC by winning that game by 1 fricking point.

You NBC Domer-shill, short memoried, clueless waste of network airtime.

This is a crack against ND's defense. Anytime your offense scores about 30 points, you gotta expect your defense to do their part. In the games they've lost this season he's played well enough to win, but poor defensive plays killed them.

This game was damn boring to watch. BC's super soft coverage lead to nothing but short passes all game. I think they took one shot deep once, and nothing came of it. The defense actually stepped up 2nd half, which was shocking. The offense wasn't able to attack deep and it made things difficult. They made the smart move this year, however, as last year the normal offense lead to several INTs by throwing the long ball more.

Looking forward to getting Floyd back in 2 weeks hopefully. Getting to see some more receivers, but they don't have the same experience and athletism. We're lucky that Tate is still healthy, he's stepped things up.
