Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

You mean the same Big10 that sucky ND went 2-1 against ??

Congrats you beat the worst Michigan team ever (the same one Ohio State destroyed 42-7) and a Purdidn't team with a freshman QB. If that makes you feel better about yourself that just shows us how far Ntre Ame has fallen under Fatboy.

With what both teams have coming back why would you think OSU would destroy ND ?? Are OSU's backs good enough to run all over ND ?? Can OSU's defensive backs handle Floyd and Tate ?? Which QB would have more success ??

Well let's see here.....Ntre Ame's offensive and defensive lines still can't block nor tackle anyone. The Chosen One himself gets frustrated with pressure in his face so you can bet Ohio State will blitz him all day long.

Add to that Terrelle Pryor would go triple-postal on your sorry asses and score 4 TDs, 2 passing, 1 running and 1 receiving from Boom. You guys couldn't stop Boom if you wanted too anyway and Posey will smoke each and every one of your "loaded" DBs.

Shall I go on? Ohio State has the better special teams too not to mention the edge in coaching.

Wait a second, isn't beating Hawaii the same as beating Florida????

touchdown Jesus says so.....

Why, I guess it is. After all, they're both tropical places, aren't they? Let's drink that Kool-Aid. Jim Jones would approve!

Look at their schedule this year. A good high school team could give some of those opponents a good run for their money. Just wait. :slappy:

Painter was a freshman last year ?? Really ...

I am not so sure about the so called edge in special teams, ND had one or 2 special teams units that were among the nations best. As for Pryor he may give ND fits with his legs but until he can throw the deep ball he is limited in what he does in the passing game. Posey would be 2nd team at best at ND.

My bad, I was thinking the scUM game against Purdidn't for some reason.

It isn't like Ntre Ame stopped Painter either so don't act like you did.

Purdue Passing C. Painter 29/55 359 6.5 2 1 Team 29/55 359 6.5 21

Yeah I can see the "We're back baby" posts already.

Too bad they'll run into LSU or Florida State or someone like that in their BCS game and lose by 50 again.

If you are going to discuss Painters stats then you have to ask why was Jimmy able to go nuts against Purdue while Pryor struggled to get his team in the end zone.

Seriously after last season and with the key loses why do you think OSU is going to be all that spectacular??

When Notre Dame beats a ranked team, which they have yet to do under Weis, I'll give a shit. Until then, GTFO with that BCS talk. If the best thing you can say about your team is "we have a soft schedule", your team sucks.

No No!!

Michigan and Notre Dame are back on top of the college football world.

Based on...

well...

nothing really, but they are back! Tate Forcier had a great game against the 2's. Never mind that the D struggled somewhat against the 2's. Michigan is back.

And ND? Well, they were playing sophomores last year because of TY and they beat the shit out of Hawaii! Now, after an off season, they are better than Ohio State!
