I lead, you follow.
So this is something I see more and more people speak about given the prevalence of the topic and pending legality across many states.

I started to move away from fantasy football into single game betting about 3 years ago. The time I spent between 3 fantasy teams I dedicated to stats and film study for the teams I would lay money on. For me at least, its paid off alright.

So far this year I'm 3 for 4

-Bought a half point and took Minny to cover at 14.5.
-Took Bama to cover against Miami
-Georgia and Clemson can fuck off, took the over.
-Took the under in the chik-fil-A kickoff.

Put in tOSU to cover at 14 against the Ducks.
Took the Rams to cover at 7 against CHI.

Use this as your thread to share info, insight, what games and teams you're taking, if not outright brag about your sports and betting prescience.
 
I am, but I've been posting it in the weekly threads. I'll start doing it here now.

Last week, I had a 2-play parlay of Ohio State minus and the over, another parlay of Ohio State minus and Washington plus. Two first half bets of Ohio State minus and the over. All of which went down in flames. My sole saving grace was a moneyline bet on Pig over Cow. I lost 60% of my nut.

I played these all for $50 each. I know, big roller, but...

Texas A+M -30 vs. New Mexico
Buffalo +13.5 vs. Coastal Carolina
Miami -6.5 vs. Michigan State
Florida +15 vs. Alabama
South Carolina +32 vs. Georgia
Utah -9 vs. San Diego State

Welp so far this week.

Took NIU to cover - X
Took Sparty as the road dog - +
Took the Under with Minny/Colorado - +
Took the Over with Purdue/NoD - ? line was 58... they're at 40 now. Going to take a minor miracle.

edit: Just pushed on the O/U with the Bama-UF game.

2-2-1 so far this weekend.

4-2 yesterday. The only real mis-read with Miami vs. Sparty. The Hurricanes just flat out blow. No sexy skill position guys, not strong up the middle, that program is on the ropes,

Penn State and Auburn stayed on the Under.

So 3 - 2 and a push because the Floriduh kicker cant hit a God damn EXP.

Got the Brownies then CIN as a road dog today. For fun picked up the Saints to cover at -3. I just don't think Carolina has the firepower to keep pace yet. But half the Saints coaching staff is out + Marcus Davenport. So I may have fucked myself on that one.

Betting a hundred every week, I'm down 60 so far for the season. I also have three future bets 100 on Ohio State to win the NC and 20 each on tsun and tejas to win no more than 7 games.

Week 1: +17
Week 2: -40
Week 3: -37

I really need a three team parlay to come through and give me a bit of a cushion.

I appreciate the "fuck em" sentiment. But scUM is 3-0 ATS this season. I might not bet against them again until The Game. Their defense is real real.

Five losses is going to be tough. I was counting on Washington being one of them. That's a 7.5 line too, so I can't get a push at 8 like I can with tejas. Indiana was also a tsun loss that I had penciled in, and I don't think that's likely now. Their five will have to be us, pedsters, wiscy, sparty and either Maryland or Rutgers. It's not looking too good, but I still have the fact that Simple Jim is their coach going for me.

Didn't expect their defensive turn-around and their offensive minimalism to be so effective. Still a long season to go, and yes, Harbaugh always gives them the ability to drop a random game or two.
