Not true.

The US are on to the next round in any scenario where they win vs. Algeria and score at least two goals. The only bearing England's matches have on the US at this point is whether or not they can get away with just a 1-0 victory.

BTW, if the current 0-0 score between ENG-ALG holds, the US will move on in any scenario in which they win 1-0 on Wednesday.

The Aussies lose a guy to red and give up a PK yet they're tied with Ghana at the half, 1-1. I think Ghana will ultimately prevail, though.

Missed opportunity for Ghana. They could've almost secured a spot in the second round, and had a man ad for most of the game. Settled for a draw.
