Patrick Mahomes wasn’t the only quarterback with an impressive performance in Las Vegas this weekend.

Four-star 2025 Ohio State quarterback commit Tavien St. Clair won the accuracy challenge at Nike’s “The Next Ones” event, a competition held at Bishop Gorman High School Saturday with a handful of the nation’s top-rated prospects participating.

Other quarterbacks St. Clair beat out in the competition include five-star LSU commit Bryce Underwood, five-star Tennessee commit George MacIntyre, four-star Clemson commit Blake Hebert and three-star Penn State commit Bekkem Kritza.

unexpectedly transferred from Alabama to Ohio State after coach Nick Saban’s retirement so the Buckeyes’ quarterback room is loaded for years to come.

But that has not scared off St. Clair, who landed his dream offer from Ohio State and has committed. The Bellefontaine, Ohio, four-star has shown no signs of looking elsewhere since his pledge.

It’s really easy for fans to lose track of committed prospects. Even for a quarterback like St. Clair a lot of the attention shifts to the prospects your favorite program is chasing rather than keeping tabs on who is already committed. St. Clair passed for a school-record 3,083 yards with a school-record 37 TDs and just six interceptions as a junior.
The question that St. Clair could answer this spring is – just how far up the QB rankings should he be? There is already a five-star quarterback in the region with Michigan native and LSU commit

Elite 11 alumni include Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebow, and more recently Trevor Lawrence, C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young and more. Last year’s Elite 11 Finals featured more than a dozen of the top 20 quarterbacks in the final On3 Industry Rankings, including each of the top five players at the position.

He becomes the sixth invitee to this year’s event, joining Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight, Texas A&M commit Husan Longstreet, Texas commit K.J. Lacey, SMU commit Keelon Russell, Oklahoma commit Kevin Sperry and Florida State pledge Tramell Jones.
