2023 OH RB Trey Cornist (Tulane Signee)

A lot of folks in Cincy think that Cornist is going to get an offer and when he does, commit instantly. It may be local optimism but I don't think so...would love to see him in this class. Wilcox is a stud so I'm not exactly rooting for Cornist to be in this class over him, but just saying I would be more than happy with Cornist being our guy in '23 at RB.

I don't think we'll end up with Trey unfortunately. Or maybe any RB in this class with how we're handling this. Hope I'm wrong but Wilcox is about to get an ultimatum and if he's on the fence, I would be really disappointed if we don't try to get Trey.

It's going to be the portal for OSU's RB in '23. And that's fine, that position isn't a need this year

RB is almost like QB for us at this point… you take one every year because its the smart thing todo especially given the injury history of the 75% of the remaining RBs….

Don’t we have another freshman RB that was injured this year? Can’t remember his name or am I dreaming?

It could be. I would take Henderson, Miyan, Pryor and Hayden back as a collective unit over the remaining guys in this class if that happens. If it doesn't happen and we don't take a RB in this class, we're in a potential lurch. Seemed like we wanted an RB in this class but I don't get the sense that the staff thought any of the available targets were that appealing. Personally I thought Cornist was a great fit but we'll see how it plays out I reckon.
