Game Thread Ohio State 3, Southern Cal 35 (Sept. 13)

TB's looking at the edge rush that Troy saw against FL and he saw at times against LSU. He's a little rushed and nervous (I would be too). The O-line is missing assignments, holding in the middle of the pocket, and flinching. TB needs time to make his reads and hes not gettin it. TP's reads are quicker when he runs. It looks good when he's in there but USC will adjust to that. This is a reoccurring theme in these big-time games. OSU has 2 and 3 year starters on the O-line. They have developed but I think their ceiling just isn't as high as previous O-line units (pre-2005). I would like to see TB and TP continue to share snaps in the second half. OSU's offensive issues are not the product of TB's ability. As for the D-line, it looks like the Illini and LSU games-- there isn't that 2-gap beast in the middle to anchor. Haven't really had that since Quinn. Remember the 2nd and 22 that went for 20-- it was the same off tackle crack that OU used in the red zone so effectively.

Terrell Pryor is a stud

Let's see a good second half with fewer penalties. I'm not sure about some of those calls but, they changed the momentum. I'm sure we will see more of Pryor... Your future looks solid with him under center. Anyways, good luck in the second half....

I dont want it to sound like an excuse, but clearly with Beanie Wells in the game we're looking different on the scoreboard. Two times inside the redzone and 3 points? Not with Wells in the game.

I totally disagree, with good play calling and right personel we could be winning this.

Give Pryor this offense more than boeckman to see what he can do IMO.... Again Todd can't throw INT's like that, especially on FIRST DOWN.

We're not out of this but the defense has to get after them and we need to stop fucking up on offense and killing drives.

We had first down and goal from THE FIVE, and we run a QB draw out of a 5 wide formation.. BRILLIANT. This game should be a nailbiter right now.

Here we go... Lets go bucks!!

Dang! Two plays away from 14-10 at the half but it wasn't to be for our Bucks.
:(
Big hole, but we gotta take it a play at a time and see what happens. Keep fighting, Bucks!

This doesn't feel like UF or LSU, this is still a winnable game. The difference, as I see it, thus far is QB. Sanchez is quick and precise with his decisions whereas we're seeing the same issues from TB that we've all been critical of. Pryor needs to be in during a majority of, if not all, the 2nd half. He brings another element to the offense that it is just lacking with Todd on the field. I was really hoping that Todd would turn the corner, but thus far, it just ain't happening.
