Game Thread Ohio State 6, Penn State 13 (Oct. 25)

define legit.

beat osu? b10 title? bcs bowl win? bcs title? super bowl champion? sec west champs? sec title game champs?

thats an escalating scale id go with:
certainly capable with what ive seen so far, maybe, less likely, no, no way, never gonna happen, cant compete with sec speed.

personally though i think joe pa is more excited for the osu game than his weekly trip to bob evans every sunday morning. he is one of the best coaches in the history of football, his teams rarely beat themselves, they are well coached and with all due respect to our team ive seen no indication that this game is a push over or that theyhave the ability to push anyone over. if it comes down to two teams beating on each other with frozen socks, id give the edge to the lions, the current group has not shown the ability to take adveristy. heck 27% on third downs, in ability to throw the ball, in efficient running game, wrs going terry glenn on their teammates, dl that has been pushed around like babies in strollers, missed tackles in the back seven, no sense of urgency, no competitive composure, no pride in their work, playing with a sense of entitlement, failure to understand football is a game of violent collisions, unwililngness to physical punish the other team, lack of playing their best, inability to man coverage, lack of intermediate passing game, a thrid down passing game that is effective as throwning a cross check with a wet noodle...

sports arent static folks, look at it this way if you return 19 players and they all start, did you get better, maybe. i see no push, no drive from other players to drive guys off the field and themselves on it. you can make any excuse you want but weve seen a lot of guys play this year and very few good performance, not even spectacular ones. ..

The Dallas Cowboys couldn't even keep up with SEC speed... S**t, the SEC can't even keep up with SEC speed.

The SEC just cancelled the SEC Title Game on the accounts of the Super Bowl complaining it was detracting from the value of the Super Bowl seeings how everyone knows there is no "world champs", only "SEC Champs".

Did you hear the Big Ten network changed its slogan? = Every commercial now ends in " This is SEC country "

ESPN changed the "Duh-dunt-duh" at the end of the Sportscenter song to "S-E-C"...

I could do this all day long, but the SEC told me to stop.

Penn State is strong this year, on both sides of the ball. I think we knew this before the season even started. I don't care who they have played, they are a great team. They are going to win a lot of games, and they won't lose before they play us. That being said...they will be a highly ranked team when they come into the Shoe. They will get their butts kicked that day. Penn State will not come to Columbus and win. Sorry kitty cats. Enjoy the feeling of an undefeated season while it lasts. This is the type of Penn State team that would lose to Michigan...but Michigan is so freakin bad this year that it won't happen.

No doubt they've improved...I felt Clark was a better QB than Morelli LAST year. Most PSU fans are probably having flashbacks to 2005 so far this year. I think they beat Illinois this weekend, but only due to it being a hostile night game and the Illini's phobia of solid defense.
