Buckeyes might face Vols again

By Dayton Daily News

Sunday, March 18, 2007
Top-seeded Ohio State's overtime escape against Xavier on Saturday earned the Buckeyes a spot in the Sweet 16 and a trip to San Antonio, Texas, where they play Thursday against either Tennessee or Virginia at a time to be determined. No. 4-seed Virginia and No. 5-seed Tennessee meet this afternoon at 12:10 (Ch. 7/12) at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
OSU beat Tennessee, 68-66, on Jan. 13 at home, starting a 19-game winning streak.

Ohio State can learn from second-round scare
March 17, 2007

The team that carried Ohio State into the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 was the same one that began the year with six consecutive victories, the one that went basket-for-basket with the Tar Heels at North Carolina, the one that averaged 87.3 points per game.
It was not the one that claimed the Big Ten regular season championship, the Big Ten tournament title and entered the game on an 18-game winning streak.

Virginia leading Tenn 38-35 going into the half. I hope we get another shot at Tennessee just to tell Ben Martin who the better school is even though it is a different sport.
This strange wish of yours was already granted. What will a second loss do?
