I'd imagine the ratings for the Rose were artificially high because many tOSU fans, like me, were only "watching" because that game was on before the Sugar Bowl. If they had flipped the start times, I'd imagine the Sugar would have doubled the ratings for the Rose.

I don't know, I would have watched them both no matter the order.

It was one of the first 2 playoff games in CFB history, it was in the RB, it had the last two Heisman winners going at it plus the universal appeal of hating FSU.

That is a lot of compelling story lines, now granted none are as compelling as getting to see Joe Paterno on the sideline but then again, what is?
