Game Thread Ohio State at Penn State, 10/22/16, 8:00pm ET ABC/WatchESPN

Its like we watched the tape and said "ok now let's do the opposite"

Too much Samuel last week=none the next week

Too much JT means no QB designed runs

We need to hit the deep throws dammit= yeah let's throw a few deep

Wtf where's Mikey? = let's run the brakes of Weber.

They have no clue. none on what they're doing on offense. Zeke finally blew his top last year after MSU and I don't blame him. Same boat right now this teams offense is dead in the water. Dead. If we turn it around its because somehow our oline turns it on and we start road grating teamso.

Considering we don't have the back to do that nor the common sense and you'll probably have a 11-2 season.

Bright side is now all the talk about Lattimore/Hooker going pro is now done. NO IDEA how anyone leaves after crap performance.

How big was that TD before the half now... I turned the game off after JT was sacked on 4th down (how fitting).

I now understand why Webber didn't see the field last year. He wasn't ready and I still don't think he is ready to be the starting RB. If Dunn didn't get kicked off the team, I dont think Webber would be starting. Samuel being the best option at WR and RB adds this problem. Would Warren Ball be starting RB if he didn't transfer?

The things that drives me crazy about our offense the most are that we

A: They do some good things, some okay things, and some flat out bad things. It feels like sometimes they are committed to doing the latter two over and over until they get them right or something.

B: Where are the 5-7 yard plays that go for 80?

On defense I'm not sure how GC or ML don't make plays on those passes, but they've both made so many this year it's hard to bitch about it. Something seems off with #5. He is easily the (I don't want to say worst here) least active or agressive MLB I can remember in awhile?

Our best WR is a running back... let that sink in and let that just consume you for a moment

(Quickly turns and looks at Zac Smith)

Agreed. But it sure wouldn't hurt to ask for a few losses from Washington, Clemson, West Virginia....
Definitely. Only team I see going undefeated is Clemson. Dabo seems to have sold his soul to the devil for a second straight time this year. Should have lost last week. West Virginia's going to lose a couple at some point. Their schedule has been soft as fuck. I think Bama's going to lose to LSU honestly. Washington's probably going to drop a game somewhere.

RE: youth. It's the 6th or 7th game of the season. We're half way through those guys have played a lot of snaps especially on the oline. Youth isn't an excuse

This game is on the staff

Studs and Warriner got some work to do

Breaking: Alabama is just better than everyone. Just how it is. It's how it usually is the past decade.

Might see Ohio State truly get on their level with recruiting and play on the field within the next couple years, assuming Urban is here for the long haul (another 5-8 years). But as of right now? No.

Well that and having a veteran defense that can seemingly score whenever also helps. Bama's offense isn't exactly a world beater.

As someone pointed out, UFM has never won a NC with an unbeaten record. Not all is lost and we saw that in '14 I've had in my head that maybe an early or mid season loss is what we needed. Hate that it was this one but I hope they learned and rebound and take care of business. Still a lot to play for.
