Game Thread Ohio State at Wisconsin, 10/15/16, 8:00pm ET ABC/WatchESPN

Sometimes in order to win a championship it requires luck, and that luck can come from some unusual places. From what little I know of the situation, Meyer received video from a young man who had never played football at any level. He saw enough in the video to offer the young man an opportunity to be a Buckeye. Last night, in an extremely hostile environment against a top 10 team that young man delivered every time he was called on. Tyler Durbin ... STUD.

The half time adjustments were terrific! Great job by the defensive coaches. I have no doubts we'll use this week to work on the guys who were targeted by Wiscy in the secondary.
And the kids on defense buckled down when the game was on the line. Another magnificient goal line stand.

Weber ran like the Tasmanian Devil! A ball of fury!
The WR rotation has gotten smaller and it helped the passing game. And we got a couple of good catches from Baugh. And Wilsom made some great catches.

Frustrating when you see our boys getting out effort-ed like the first half. But they're learning and growing.
Great decision not to give Bucky returnable kicks.
We got lucky with the lack of turnovers. It helped. Except for that strange shower! Bizarre!

National audience was a great showcase for OSU football!

Just sayin': On another guy that "delivered" in the Wisky game; reportedly Urban never saw JT Barrett throw before offering him a scholarship, he just took Tom Herman and Trent Dilfer's recommendations:

Meyer, an offensive guru obsessed with perfecting every detail, actually had more reason to point the finger than usual. He’d made it his policy throughout his career to only offer players he worked out in person. Things went by the wayside, however, when Ohio native Malik Zaire committed to Notre Dame in March 2012.

“It was my first year,” Meyer said. “I said (to Barrett) I need to see you throw. For some reason that didn’t happen. And we started losing (potential) commitments at quarterback right away.

“(Offensive coordinator Tom Herman) said I think we should take this guy. I said what’s his name again? He said J.T. Barrett. I said okay. I called Trent Dilfer from the Elite 11. He went to him. He sold me on him. We took him. He’s the first quarterback I’ve ever signed that I never saw throw. Think about that.”
