fucking suck.

Fuck every single person in that stadium who booed Tood Boeckman. I hope you got hit by a fucking bus walking home. If you didn't tell me where you live and I'll drive a bus over there right now. I know its been said a bunch of places, but I hate our fans. This is fucking bullshit.

Lets all remember, this is a 24 year old man who has given the last 6 years of his life to this university. Hell, he chose to a grayshirt to come here, having to pay some of his way instead of taking full rides to other places. He comes out, he pours his heart and soul into this university, he gives us his best effort. Do a lot of us wish he had more natural talent so his best effort was more what we were hoping for? Of course, I am sure every one of us does. But lets put this into perspective- these fans are booing him because last year he was this teams best option to lead us to victory (which, if anyone deserves blame for, is certainly the coaches and NOT Todd), came out and won the job, and performed well considering what a lot of people were expecting- not exceptional, but very well, and oh, yeah, I forgot, led us to the national championship game in a rebuilding year.

Todd has never been accused of dogging it. Todd has never taken a cheap shot at another player, said anything but great things about his coaching staff, teammates, and university, or even gotten remotely in trouble. Todd has always given himself completely to the team, doing whatever he can to make it better, to lead us to victory, showing the heart of a warrior, if not a champion. So what do we do? We boo him off the field for throwing an incomplete pass during the game he got benched.

I'm personally apoligize to all those fans- I am sorry that your parents concieved you. I wish I could go back however many fucking years it was and put a condom on your dad. But I can't, so if you could just do us all a favor and not go to games, save the tickets for people who are going to come out and support every single player on that team for being a Buckeye and giving their best effort, that would be fucking fantastic.

I was embarassed to be a Buckeye fan in the Shoe on Saturday. Truly embarassed that I was associated with a fan base that boos a player who has given us 6 years of hard work. And if I ever see it again, God help whoever is booing.

While I share your sentiments about the booing morons I think some of your comments are a bit broad. Every fan base has some idiots, and ours exposed themselves in the Shoe yesterday.

Yesterday I sad something about the fans sounding like 25,000 instead of 105,000 and got blasted and a couple people gave me a bad Reputation for it (hence all the red dots to the right). Didnt go this far at all but, I think a large part of peoples frustration and the booing is on the coaches and not TB. While he hasnt lived up to what people would like, he is still only 24, but fans do pay a large amount to watch the best players play. Like I said I think it is frustration and not a personal attack against TB. He still is a caption of this team and there maybe a time this year that we may need him so hopefully he can keep his head up. But if you think that we are the only fan base that boo's our own players your sadly mistaken its everywhere, remember this isnt pee wee football its College football. Their are a lot of 24 year olds at the next level that get booed all the time. Its part of the game, not that I agree with it, I dont.

possibly the wrong time to bring this up, because I like Todd. He seems like a good kid. But claiming he led us to the NC game is a bit much. He was on a team that got to the NC game, just as much as AJ Trapasso.

And that's called ding whining, and earns an infraction. Reputation is private for a reason, and not to be brought to the boards publically, especially to pollute the discussion with rants about silly little chiclets.

If it becomes too much, you can turn your reputation off.

They didn't boo like that when Terrelle badly missed on a few plays. Their bias is obvious, they start to scream and shout anytime TP gets 2 yds outside the pocket.

That doesn't give them a right to humiliate a player for making a bad play. Not for $60, nor $10000.

The sense of entitlement is exactly what is wrong with too many fans these days, including Buckeyes.
But if you think that we are the only fan base that boo's our own players your sadly mistaken its everywhere, remember this isnt pee wee football its College football.
The prevalence of idiots doesn't excuse idiocy, from anyone.

And they are professionals, paid to perform or they are fired. These are students, who are here to play football and earn an education. They are not booted off the team for throwing bad passes, like their professional counterparts.

No ding whining. That will only bring about more dings. Just let it go.

So the fuck what? Regardless how much the fans pay, that doesn't give them the right to act like fucktards. Fuck those cockhole fuckers that booed, whether it was Todd or the coaches they were booing. Though, I'm not buying that load of horseshit one bit. They booed after the pass fell short. If it would have been completed, there would have been no boos.

The 24 year olds at the next level are getting paid quite well to play. Boo them all you wish. Also, I think everyone here is aware that this is, in fact, not pee wee football. Booing Buckeyes is still un-fucking-acceptable.

I agree with your 2nd and 3rd 3 paragraphs; however, the lines "fans hit by a bus walking home" and "being sorry that someone was concieved and the father should have had a condom", etc. are a bit extreme.

I'm not sure that the booing for Todd is should be considered a personal attack at him, or an actual disapproval of his performance. Todd has been (so far) a class act and a (very deserving) team captain; and according to reports has unselfishly helped Terrelle improve his game. I agree that he should be getting positive encouragement from the fans.

I believe that most fans (like me) feel that Terrelle has more potential of be a much better quarterback than Todd; and realize that he is our future quarterback (for hopefully) 3 more years. The fans just want to see him develope and the sooner the better. I believe it may just be a way to express a preference to see Terrelle in the game.

I don't believe that is in very good taste to boo an Ohio State player. Unless possibly they do something to discredit the school (i.e. Clarett). However, when a fans pays $65 a ticket to see the game I do believe that they have a right to express their opinion (i.e. boo or cheer) if they want to.

Not to mention some 1600+ yard schmo goes by "Beanie" or something and got a few carries in a game w/ TSUN and carried the load of the offense.

That shouldn't come as a big surprise. You guys know full well that Tom Brady didn't exactly get 100% support as long as bonus baby Drew Henson was around, as I've had pointed out to me before. It's a natural phenomenon. Doesn't excuse the outright booing (I didn't see any of it though so I have no idea how bad it was.) But it's not the first time the hyped-up athletic phenom quarterback has gotten all the love over the steady unspectacular drop-back guy. Happened to Brady, happened to Chris Leak, and it'll happen everywhere you have this kind of situation.

WOW! Dude, calm down. Although I agree with the general idea of this post, you're a bit out of line, don't you think? Hit them with a bus??? HA!!! Being a bit of a drama queen maybe? And the over-generalization on "Buckeye fans suck" is just ignorant.

Yesterday was my first game that I have ever attended at Ohio Stadium. After getting into town at 2 a.m. and with little sleep, I was still pumped to see the game. As much as I enjoyed seeing TP start, I felt bad as hell for Todd, even more so when he got booed off the field. I also sat behind one guy that seemed to do nothing but bitch and whine. On one TP run he got all worked up b/c TP tryed to cut back outside instead of running straight. I know each team has it's rotten apples and so on, but that guy bitching is one thing I still remember from the game but I will probably soon forget it. Seeing the band, hearing the various cheers/chants the crowd does and the overall atmosphere of a Buckeye's game itself was amazing and far outweighs the bad apples. I've been to a few Mizzou games and they were all right, but they have nothing on what the Buckeye's do on Saturday's(both on the field and in the stands)! Putting the atmosphere with what I have watched on the T.V. was icing on the cake and leaving me wanting to come back for more. My little brother and I can't wait to come to a game again next year!
