Game Thread Ohio State @ Indiana, 08/31/17 @ 8:00 ET (ESPN)

I just do not understand the point spread for this game. It is way too low in my opinion. It is almost like the bookies want to lose money.
I think the argument is that (a) Ohio State got blown out in their bowl game, (b) lost some great defensive secondary players, (c) hired a coach who Indiana know, (d) and have a starting quarterback who really didn't shoot the lights out last year.

Well, good luck with that. I'm sticking with at least 35 points and two defensive scores.

Trying to think like a gambler for a second; I think they're looking at Indiana's recent history vs OSU. The last few games have been close.

Why they aren't taking into consideration the possibility that Kevin Wilson had a lot to do with that and he's on the other sideline now? All I can say is that this is the first vBet I've made in as long as I can remember

Yea there's probably a lot of variables not being taken into consideration by your average run of the mill gambler.

Last years game was a "meh" performance by Ohio State and they still won by 21. IU doesnt have the offensive fire power they had in 14 and 15 (or even 12) now. Their defense is certainly better but that might not matter much when their offense sputters to 3 and outs on decent occasion.

If Ohio State's offense plays up to the level they are capable of (or even near it) this game is out of control quick.

Now, you're not suggesting Mike DeBord's offense isn't quite as strong as Kevin Wilson's offense, are you?

Is this where we hold your beer so you can go bet?

Simple gambling rule; don't ever say that. Even if you think that, you don't EVER say that.

To reverse the power of this uber curse I put some cash down on IU to win straight up.
