Ohio State @ Penn St., Thursday, 8 pm, BTN

I hope we never play this PSU team again.

If we meet them in the BTT we'd probably stick two guys on Carr and he'd still go off for 40.

Sure hope the committee doesn't give us an early Dance match-up with some ultra-physical team with a NBA-level perimeter scorer. As we can see, that is not a kind situation for us.

Fuck all that. I'd sign up to see them again in New York.
You might want to see them again in New York but I do not think that the outcome would be that much better. They are much more physical than us and as a team have much better shooters plus they have some guys who can come off of their bench and give them some quality minutes. This is just not a team that we match up with very well. As a couple people have mentioned in this thread, Tate is probably the only Buckeye that is physical enough to play this type of game.

They won the first game on a last-second heave after shooting 78.6% from 3 (their season average including last night, in which they shot 45%, is 37.8%). Last night Ohio State shot 13% from 3 and 39% overall.

Penn State is a fine team and they deserved both of their wins. There was also a degree of flukiness to both of them. I see no reason to be afraid of them.

Oh, I am not afraid of them I am just saying that we do not match up with them very well.. Tate, as I mentioned, is the only Ohio State player who is willing to play to contact. KBD does not like contact at all and does not play well when guys get physical with him. The Wesson brothers and Potter can play physical but they do not bring that much to the table. I think all of us need to remember what we thought about our team at the beginning of the season and I think that maybe the magical ride is coming to a close. I guess we shall see.

Kaleb Wesson doesn't bring much to the table? I disagree. I'll concede that I cursed Potter by giving him some praise.
