Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets - Michael Jordan to enroll early, Antwuan Jackson names leaders

The Buckeyes stole the recruiting headlines over the weekend.
When Ohio State plays host to a large group of prospects, a commitment is bound to happen. After taking in the Buckeyes runaway victory over Penn State on Saturday, four-star class of 2016 running back Antonio Williams announced his verbal commitment to OSU on Sunday morning.
After a week where the Buckeyes' class of 2016 lost George Hill, and with Kareem Walker taking visits to other programs, Williams, the 19th member of the Buckeyes' class, helps secure a true running back among this year's recruits.
A former Wisconsin commit, Williams also helps Urban Meyer keep his track record of flipping prospects from another program to the Buckeyes.

Jordan announces plans
Buckeye nation was wondering what Michael Jordan had under his sleeve for Saturday's announcement. While some thought the class of 2016 lineman could open his recruitment back up, that definitely wasn't the case.
During a press conference held at Plymouth (MI) High, the longtime OSU pledge shared that he plans to not just enroll at Ohio State in January, but that he will also take part the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Just like classmates Austin Mack, Malik Barrow, Tuf Borland, and Jonathon Cooper, enrolling early gives the 6'7, near 300-pound Jordan a jump on some of his future teammates. Arriving after the new year, the four-star standout will have the opportunity not just to grasp the playbook, but will also be eligible to compete in camp during the spring.
"I plan to enroll in January to get acclimated to the college life. So when the season starts I'll be into college and I want to get a head start in my studies. [My mindset] is to go into practice mentally prepared and be focused," Jordan said to HometownLife.com after his ceremony.
Jordan is the fifth Ohio State class of 2016 commitment to announce he will suit up in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Austin Mack, Demario McCall, Drue Chrisman, and Jonathon Cooper will also take part in the annual event held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
"It's a very honorable moment for me. Only 90 players in the country get to go to it and I feel very honored to play in it," said Jordan.
Jackson names leaders
On Saturday, OSU found out they are still high in the mix for one of the most sought-after class of 2016 defensive line prospects in the country.
After naming a top 10 over the summer, four-star standout Antwuan Jackson is now down to six programs. Announcing his plans on Twitter, Ohio State, and Auburn are still Jackson's co-leaders, while Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Clemson round out his new short list.
Looking to add another defensive tackle to the fold, the 6'2, 295-pound, Cedar Grove, Georgia native is just one of the prospects the Buckeyes are currently pursing. Rashan Gary, Rashard Lawrence, and Dexter Lawrence are other senior defensive tackles OSU is trying to add to their roster.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Jackson is considered the ninth defensive tackle, and 55th overall prospect in the class of 2016.
