With Ohio State's staff busy as can be with the NFL Draft and being on the road recruiting, it's a great time to be a Buckeye fan.

Last night, the NFL Draft showcased easily one of, if not the best recruiting pitch to current high school prospects. With five Buckeyes going in the first round of the NFL draft and three in the top ten, Urban Meyer and staff have to be enjoying the state of their football program. The development Ohio State has shown under Meyer is producing NFL players at a rate that explains exactly why the current 2017 recruiting class is standing firmly as the top class in the country.

Star OLB earns OSU offer

Yesterday, Ohio State extended another offer out to a 2018 star prospect. This time, from the Rocky Mountain State, Adrian Jackson of Denver, Colo. announced via his twitter yesterday that the Buckeyes had coming knocking. A 6'2", 210-pound outside linebacker, Adrian is already seeing his recruitment take off even though he still has two prep football seasons left to be played before he heads off to college.

With offers from Missouri, Colorado, Colorado State, Utah, Nebraska and now Ohio State, look for the take off in Adrian's offer list to increase mightily. It's far too early to say who leads for Jackson, but Ohio State certainly has to be at the top of his early list with the track record they possess.

OSU stops in to see Texas QB

With most of the coaching staff in Chicago watching their former players being drafted to NFL teams, there's still recruiting being done on the road. Yesterday, Ohio State made their way to the Lone-star state and stopped in to check on a 2018 quarterback from Denton, Texas. Spencer Sanders, a dual-threat quarterback with impressive size standing at 6'2", 190 pounds already has a few major college offers.

While Ohio State has yet to offer Sanders, making a visit to Texas certainly has to be a step in the right direction for Spencer and the Buckeyes. Currently, he has offers from South Carolina, Texas A&M, North Carolina, Kansas, and more. However, if the Buckeyes were to pull the trigger in the near future, that would certainly set up increased interest from many other of the nation's top programs.

Martell feels the OSU love

We've mentioned it time and time again. The work Ohio State's graphic design team can do truly is second to none. With the NFL draft really showing how successful the Buckeye program is, the team wasted no time in using it as a brilliant recruiting pitch to many of the nation's top prospects. A name that is certainly not new to Ohio State: Tate Martell.

A prospect that is currently committed to Texas A&M, rumors have been circulating for a while since Martell's visit to Columbus, that he is most likely to end up dawning the Scarlet and Gray. While Ohio State would certainly welcome Tate with open arms, he is still an Aggie pledge. Until his pledge descends, Ohio State will continue to target the 5-star quarterback relentlessly.

Recruits respond to OSU success

Mentioned earlier, Ohio State had a record night at the NFL Draft yesterday. The sales pitch Urban Meyer can use with recruits due to sending three Buckeyes to the NFL in the first ten picks of the draft truly shows how special the talent is in Columbus. Many of the nation's elite prospects considering Ohio State took to twitter to express their thoughts on the Buckeyes success in Chicago. Included below are the likes of Donovan Peoples-Jones, Trevon Grimes, Kary Vincent and Darnay Holmes.

NCAA lifts satellite camp ban

Yesterday, a major victory for prep football prospects was won as the NCAA lifted the ban on satellite camps which will again allow college coaches to attend various camps around the country in pursuit of the nation's best talent. For Ohio State, Urban Meyer and staff will now officially continue on with their original plans and hold their own satellite camp at Central Gwinnett High School in Georgia which will certainly showcase many of SEC country's finest athletes.
