Always amazed at how these coaches can get guys to play when coaching at a school like Butler but when they coach at a school like tOSU it’s a whole other story.

talent is overall poor, but last 5 minutes didn't exactly make me feel all warm and cuddly about ho1tmann. multiple boneheaded decisions.

This. It takes zero talent to preserve a 15-point lead with 3 minutes to go. This is a head coaching meltdown of epic proportions. Holtmann should be ashamed of himself.

Those refs should be embarrassed from the way they called the last 5 mins too. So many blatant fouls by Butler not called while Ricky tack shit on the other end.

Can't expect miracles 7 games into Holt's tenure, but it is frustrating to watch.

No doubt. I got to watch a little of them before I left and they looked pretty good. Good ball movement and defense. Future looks promising once Holtmann gets more talent in there. Probably just hard to undo 3-4 years of bad habits.

Probably because Kam's the same player he was when he arrived on campus 5 years ago--a guy who sometimes can hit an open shot, but plays no defense and can't dribble. Not saying the roster's loaded with talent, but Kam's done nothing to deserve additional playing time from what I've seen.

Ohio State hoops will need a few years to get back to where they used to be. The last of the Matta boys need to go. We need a point guard terribly bad. If Butler shoots 3s like they normally do, this game isn't close to begin with.

Who cares if he can't play defense there was 8 seconds left and we needed a shot. There was no reason for him not to be in the game at that point.

Come crunch time the team reverted back to their own brain dead self. We need ball handlers bad and guys who can make good decisions. It is just going to take time to fix this mess.

we can disagree on many things, but we can agree on that. been a long time being as angered watching an osu game. so many questionable plays, calls, decisions, shots, etc. after 4 to go. it would be one thing if it was bad playing or bad coaching, but it was both. shameful all around.

It's disappointing but hardly the most discouraging ever. There were several losses last year that were far more discouraging on the whole than this one game....

That’s my point and it’s on the coaching staff to keep the players heads in the game. It’s a culture problem right now that Holtmann has to grab hold of. I saw similar half assing it at the end of the Stanford game.
