Game Thread Ohio State vs Penn State - 11/23/19, 12:00PM (FOX)

Which is why I'm so antsy for this game. I've seen this type of game go both ways my time of watching OSU football...and that goes back to about 1983 being my oldest scarlet and gray memory ....

Your oldest scarlet and gray memory was my freshman year at Ohio State.

Why the hell am I laughing?

Better offense: 2019 Ohio State or 1994 Penn State?
Spoiler alert: the vote goes the way you think it would on a Penn State message board. And that's not why I bothered to post it here.

They bring up the fact that Penn State beat Ohio State 63-14.

It was much worse than 63-14. That was essentially the halftime margin of victory... Paterno called off the dogs at the end of 2 quarters. Those 1994 dogs could run. That offense was an NFL roster... a good NFL roster. The Miami Hurricanes may have had a talent level that approached it, but no where near the discipline to comparatively optimize the talent.

Paterno called off the dogs? The halftime score was 35-0. The second half was, therefore, 28-14. I don't understand how 28 points is "calling off the dogs".

This "article" says it was Ohio State's "worst-ever" defeat.

It didn't take long to find that M*ch*gan once beat Ohio State 86-0, in 1902.

They're talking about glory days from 25 years ago while we're talking about this season.

Sucks to be them.
