Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

He'll just end up wrestling a lot of takedown and escape matches. I'd be shocked if he got any pins. I am anxious to see him against some of the better guys at the B1G tourney.

Snyder never usually gets the fall but if he racks up the decisions, that is a heck of a lot better than we were getting there. But same her on seeing him against the better heavies, I didn't realize it until you mentioned him but there is not a ranked opponent at heavyweight on the rest of the schedule unless he gets someone at national duals.

Logan Stieber to join Ohio State Wrestling coaching staff after 2016 Olympics

The greatest wrestler in the history of the Ohio State program is coming home. Less than a year after earning his fourth-consecutive NCAA championship, Logan Stieber has agreed to return to the Ohio State program as an assistant coach following the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

In the official release, Stieber says this of his new challenge:

"I am very excited to be joining the Buckeye staff next year," said Stieber. "I love Ohio State, so it's a dream come true that I can start my coaching career here as well as pursue my Olympic dreams. I'm excited to be able to work with the current and future student athletes. I think with my knowledge and experience I can help the Buckeyes continue to win on and off the mat."

Even before the pin Nolf was taking to him. Imar came out and tried to horse Nolf in the first min and couldn't and that seemed to take his will away. He looked gassed in the 2nd. And then didn't even fight on his back.

PSU's lineup is absolutely loaded and you have to admire their style of wrestling. Their guys never stop scoring points. OSU is gonna have to come out and wrestle their best match of the year to keep it close and even that may not be enough.

White is a super get for OSU. The kid has limitless upside and has been a huge OSU lean but had to wait out the Mark Hall lottery and for a while looked like he was going to Neb. Also nice to get a kid from OPRF.

Absolutely enormous get. You hit the nail on the head, could be a multi NCAA champion, he's really that good. Fans will love his explosive style of wrestling and aggression. I think he slots in right where Marinelli would have and is every bit as good, but with more upside. Also great to break into a pipeline school, OPRF puts out studs and that won't stop anytime soon. I'm thinking he'll fit in really nice at 165 for next year...I anticipate both Bo and Myles will slide up.

Not sure they're beatable unless the perfect storm happens. I didn't anticipate Nolf and Nickal being at the top, makes them the heavy favorite even with Hunter and Snyder back.

When PSU wrestles matches at Bryce Jordan the place gets electric and their guys seem to rise above rankings and wrestle out of their minds. Like you said a perfect storm would be needed for an upset.

Oh I highly doubt we beat them in the dual at their place. I was moreso thinking B1G's and NCAA's. This is one of the years I think they are every bit as lethal as a tourney team as they are a duals team.

Does the 'they' refer to PSU? If so, considering they had won 3 NCAA titles in a row what do you mean by being as lethal a tourney team. They seems pretty good in the tourney to me.
