One of Rattler’s partners is Fowler Automotive Group, which gave Rattler a pair of cars* as part of an endorsement deal. Jonathan Fowler, the company’s president, said in an interview with Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports that they didn’t team up with Rattler solely for the immediate financial return.

"Whether [Rattler] starts or doesn't start, the truth is we didn't go into the partnership just for a return on investment," Fowler told CBS Sports. "I hate that he's having to go through this type of scrutiny as a student-athlete, but I certainly understand. I assume he does, too."

Fowler doesn’t blame Rattler for his lackluster performance on the field to this point. The company doesn’t view the partnership as a mistake, and they were still able to raise awareness about their brand.

"At the end of the day, it is a form of free advertising," Fowler said. "My company hasn't done anything wrong, Spencer hasn't done anything wrong. There will be people that know our company."

*Rattler's NIL deals will roll on. He also has a deal with Raisin' Canes, a fast-food chicken restaurant. His cars from Fowler are valued at $70,325 (2021 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX) and $43,450 (Dodge Charger Scat Pack). It's not clear whether these cars were given to Rattler in perpetuity, or they are on a lease deal.

Just sayin': The article is dated Oct 13, 2021. I wonder if Fowler's opinion has now changed since Rattler is no longer in school and considering the transfer portal. Rattler has several hundred thousands of reasons here to stay in school and on the team for (at least) the remainder of the semester. He blew it big time.

How did Oklahoma's Caleb Williams pull off double handoff vs. Kansas? Forward handoff rule, explained

For the second time in three weeks, Oklahoma freshman Caleb Williams helped his team to victory with an incredible play on fourth down.
.
.
.
Williams' key play came late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's Oklahoma-Kansas game, with the Sooners facing fourth-and-1 at their own 46 and leading the Jayhawks 28-23. A Kansas stop would have given the Jayhawks the ball back with roughly 3:09 remaining. Indeed, the defense stopped running back Kennedy Brooks for a loss of 2 yards ... were it not for the heads-up play from Williams.

For those who missed it ... Williams managed to wrest the ball from Brooks behind the line of scrimmage, fight for the first down yardage and grab an extra couple yards for good measure. The play allowed Oklahoma to continue its drive, which eventually ended in a Brooks 4-yard touchdown with 42 seconds remaining. The Jayhawks didn't have enough time to mount a comeback.

Just sayin': His passing was 15/20, 178 yards, TDs, 1 INT and rushing was 5 carries, 70 yards, 1 TD. However, that's the play that will make the "highlight reels". It didn't win the game, but it did keep the drive alive.

Mike Woods is a WR for Okie; he originally signed with Arkansas in 2018 and subsequently transferred to Okie. See video below, looks like he knows really enjoys blocking in the open field.

Oklahoma's contingent of signal-callers already includes three scholarship quarterbacks in incumbent starter Spencer Rattler (5 Star), ballyhooed five-star 2021 signee Caleb Williams and dual-threat Penn State transfer Micah Bowens (3 Star). Additionally they have two walk-ons: Ralph Rucker and Ben Harris.

I'll say Ohio State's QB room is better or at least just as good; i.e. Stroud (4 Star), McCord (5 Star), Miller (4 Star), Ewers (5 Star).

great question

probably similar to how his playing is playing with scouts

Spencer Rattler went from being a projected #1 NFL draft pick to being an undrafted CFL free agent in 7 games.

He needs to hop in the transfer portal and start fresh. Maybe he should consider FLLLLorida so that Dan MuLLLLen could "whisper" in his ear. Those 2 whiny, narcissistic, overrated losers would be a match made in Purgatory and truly deserve each other.

Well it looks like MuLLLLen won't be at FLLLLorida next year anymore. So wherever he ends up, Rattler should go.

Rattler's a West Coast guy. He'll transfer to a Pac12 school, most likely ASU or USC.

Oh I know. That wasn't the point of comment (of WHERE he'll transfer) but rather to which coach he should transfer to play for to match his whiny, narcissistic, overrated loser-energy. MuLLLLen will not be coaching, but Rattler would fit in nicely with that sociopath Chip Kelly in ucLLLLa.

Anyone that saw him on the QB1 series on Netflix knew this was going to be the outcome. He's just not a leader...or a good dude
